Features/Specifications

The Model 336S27 Add-A-Grapple mounts on your forklift's or tractor loader's pre-existing pallet fork frame with adjustable width flat style pallet forks.

The grapple is easy on/off and fits standard flat style pallet forks up to 4 inches wide with a maximum thickness of 1 3/4 inches.

Two fork positions are available:  the outer position allows clamping against the forks, and the inner position will allow the grapple to bypass the forks by 6 inches to clamp down on a smaller load.

Easy on:  just slide your forks into a pair of tubes, insert the locking rods behind the forks to prevent the unit from sliding off when tipping downward, tighten the clamps to keep the unit stable during clamping, plug in your hydraulic hoses and you are ready to work.

Maximum width forks can be spaced and fit into the fork pockets is 27 inches wide (with flat style fork up to 4 inches wide), and your fork carriage must slide together a minimum of 27 inches wide out side to outside to have the unit slide on your forks.

  • Add-A-Grapple pallet fork mount grapple mounts on fork lifts or skid steer loaders and tractor loaders equipped with a fork lift carriage with flat style pallet forks on the loader arms

  • The grapple is easy on/off, and fits standard flat style pallet forks up to 4 inches wide and a maximum of 1 3/4 inches thick

  • Two fork positions are available: the outer position allows clamping against the forks, and the inner position will allow the grapple to bypass the forks by 6 inches to clamp down on a smaller load

  • Easy On - just slide your forks into a pair of tubes, insert the locking rods behind the forks to prevent the unit from sliding off when tipping downward, tighten the clamps to keep the unit stable during clamping, plug in your hydraulic hoses and you are ready to work

  • Carriage width maximum is 27 inches wide (grapple section width is also 27 inches)

  • Height of carriage from forks up to pivot where the grapple attaches is 26 inches

  • Maximum Open Height: when grapple is open to maximum, height from forks to tip of grapple tine is 54 inches

Use for loading brush, logs, and stabilizing pallet loads

An OPTIONAL log clamp is available (see parts/accessories section for grapples), OPTIONAL log clamp allows you to clamp onto one object at a time such as logs, pipe, or poles.

If you are ordering a grapple and need a manual control valve or electric selector valve, order them in the drop down menu on this order page.

The manual control valve is a single bank valve (two ports a pressure and a return), will control one 2-way hydraulic cylinder, use if you have an open port you want to dedicate a control valve for this grapple, or another attachment you put on your tractor.

The selector valves allow you to switch the hydraulic flow from one of your hydraulic outlets on your loader control back and forth between the two circuits (the tilt cylinders on the loader (we recommend) and the grapple), so you can use one hydraulic outlet to control two functions (alternately)

One control lever on your loader valve will now be able to control each circuit by switching back and forth using the selector valve.

The valve is available in a manual valve, as well as 3 different electric models.  If you do not have enough hydraulic outlets for all functions, then using a selector valve is usually the easiest way to connect all hydraulic circuits (hoses) to the system.

MP020 is an electric valve kit for hydraulic systems with a maximum of 15 gpm or less.  Model MP010 is an electric selector valve kit for hydraulic systems with up to 24 gpm capacity.  Normally these three valves are what is needed.  The kits (MP020 and MP010 and MP030) come with mounting brackets, wiring harness, fittings, and hardware.  The MP215 manual valve is just the valve.

The MP030 is a special double stack valve kit with 24 gpm capacity.  This is needed if you have only one hydraulic outlet but you have THREE functions (example connect to tilt cylinders, the grapple, plus one other function).  This valve is normally not needed on the grapple applications, but is available).
